Agent Browser privacy policy

Agent Browser ("the extension") is published by Schalk Dormehl (schalk.dormehl@gmail.com). It is a Chrome side panel that connects to an Agent Harness deployment the user chooses and lets that deployment's assistant ("Agent") read and operate the websites the user attaches to the panel's "Agent" tab group.
What the extension handles
- Content of tabs in the Agent tab group: page text, element labels, and the values of form fields, read when the agent asks to see or act on the page, plus the attached tab's context (URL, title) as it changes. Password and file inputs are never read.
- The URL and title of tabs in the Agent tab group.
- The actions the agent performs there (click, type, select, press, scroll, navigate, open a tab) and their results.
- The deployment the user picked (stored locally in the browser), and, for the current browser session only, which panel owns each window and which chat is bound to which tab group.
The extension does not read tabs outside the Agent tab group, does not read tabs in other windows, does not monitor the user's own browsing, clicks or keystrokes, and does not read or store passwords or sign-in tokens. Sign-in to a deployment uses the browser's own session with that deployment; no access token is copied into extension storage.
Voice is optional. If the user enables the microphone, audio is captured by the deployment's chat interface shown in the panel, only while the user uses voice.
Where it goes
Handled data is sent only to the Agent Harness deployment the user picked, over HTTPS, so that the user's assistant can answer and act. That deployment is operated by the organisation that runs it and processes the data with the AI model providers it is configured to use, under its own terms. The extension's publisher runs no other server for the extension and receives no data from it.
The extension does not sell user data, does not use or transfer it for advertising, does not use or transfer it for purposes unrelated to its single purpose, and does not use or transfer it to determine creditworthiness or for lending.
Storage and retention
The extension keeps only the deployment choice (until the user switches deployment or removes the extension) and session bindings (cleared when the browser closes). Conversations and the page context sent with them are kept by the deployment according to its own retention.
Limited Use
The use of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
